Our story
A family kitchen, rooted in Vietnam.
Pho Minh is a small, family-run restaurant on Pine Road. We cook the way our mothers did: broth started at dawn, herbs picked over by hand, fish sauce mixed fresh every day, and every plate made the moment you order it.
The lotus is Vietnam's national flower. It rises from muddy ponds and blooms perfectly clean. It's on our sign because it's how we want to cook: simple, pure and honest.

Our broth
From Bones to Bowl
Good pho can't be rushed. Every bowl begins hours before the doors open.
Step 01
Char
Onion and ginger are charred over open flame until sweet and smoky.
Step 02
Simmer
Beef bones simmer low for hours from early morning, skimmed by hand.
Step 03
Spice
Toasted star anise, cinnamon, clove and cardamom give pho its warm perfume.
Step 04
Serve
Ladled boiling-hot over fresh rice noodles, with a plate of herbs to make it yours.

I had a craving for viet while traveling and this place was suggested so we stopped in for lunch and it was honestly The Best Pho ive had in AB so far and ive tried about 10 diff places pho( not much but this one is TOP).
I had the rare beef and beef meatballs pho with satay added and it was very flavourful, aromatic, and unforgettable. I will surely crave this for years and cannot wait to come back!
The servings were large and flavourful for the best bang for your buck. The grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli was also fresh and flavourful. The shrimp was well seasoned and delicious.
I also had the iced coffee it was strong and creamy with just the right sweetness.
